The ship was at sea, and besides the obvious bout of sickness her mother endured, Victoria found the first few days to be somewhat pleasant. The girl walked over to the side and looked out to the ocean. She smiled softly as she rested both hands on the railing and took in the soft fume of salt water. Victoria was alone for once, thank heavens. She looked around before walking over to a lounge chair and got comfortable; adjusting the skirt to the dress she had on and smiled softly that she could relax without that awful corset.
Victoria took the band out of her pack and pulled up her hair before grabbing her journal and pen and started to write. This one was about the ocean. She was writing something similar to how she was doing on the Titanic. Even though everything was luxurious, there was always something the character felt that was off. Victoria glanced up and scanned the deck. She closed her journal and leaned back as she closed her eyes and hoped to enjoy these moments of peace while she still could. If her mother found her, who knows what would happen. Victoria would cross that road when it came down to it.
